Evaluation of the Smart Indonesia Program as a Policy to Improve Equality in Education

Inequality of access to education is still a major challenge faced by the Indonesian government and caused cost-related issues. Therefore, implements Smart Indonesia Program (SIP) overcome problems related costs increase equitable education. The purpose this study was evaluate implementation SIP in Central Java province, examining samples obtained from 20 vocational schools consisting 1413 students as respondents 50 informants. key informant school superintendent Regional Education Office VII which analyzed with context, input, process, product (CIPP) evaluation. results found that sampling area, Card (SIC) program considered be very good, an average context point 82.3% (very good), input 83.4% process 87.7% 90% good). However, two main obstacles were identified have potential affect effectiveness distribution, including (1) data synchronization between relevant stakeholders (2) evaluation reporting systems did not refer principle accountability.
